Black Butterfly Books will be featured on 6Foot3Radio.Org on June 5th, 7th, and 9th, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST. Phyllis Vaughan, a phenomenal radio personality, will host the event. Discussion will cover the origin of the Black Butterfly Series by Author Lorna Jackie Wilson. A spoken-word performance will be featured as well! In addition, David N. On Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 12 PM – 5 PM, the Detroit Book City is hosting its 4th Annual African-American Family Book Expo. Join me and other fierce and talented Black Independent Authors of adult and children’s books from across the country. This event presents a lively and culturally-rich atmosphere during Black History Month. During the event, authors will be autographing books and sharing valuable information on black history, featured titles, and more. This is an event, you don’t want to miss! The 4th Annual African-American Family Book Expo will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 12 PM – 5 PM at Fellowship Chapel Banquet and Conference Center, 7707 West Outer Drive, Detroit, MI 48235.

On Saturday, January 13, 2018, at 1:00 PM, Talbiyah, Inc., is hosting a fundraising learning lab, dinner, and show to save Post 126, Fred W. Beaudry. Without the support of the community, veterans may lose this post. Author Lorna Jackie Wilson will be one of the featured guests at this event. The show will feature chefs, performing artists, silent auctions for artful masterpieces, musicians and poets. As a veteran of the U.S. Army, my heart goes out to the veterans of Post 126. On Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 7:00 PM, Author Lorna Jackie Wilson, will be featured on the “It’s All About You Family Radio Show (88.1 FM, WHPR),” hosted by Evangelist Clara Mitchell.  The generational discussion topic will be on positive change, mentoring, and youth in transition.

On Wednesday, October 25, 2017, Author Lorna Jackie Wilson launched a book giveaway contest for Black Butterfly: The Journey – The Victory.  Ten books were offered in the giveaway (eight: Goodreads / two: FWLBB Facebook Group).  The giveaway ended on Thursday, November 2, 2017.  559 people entered the contest.

On Sunday, May 3, 2015, Author Lorna Jackie Wilson, held her first book signing at an Author’s Expo held at Detroit World Outreach.  Guests were provided autographed copies of her book, Black Butterfly: The Journey, The Victory.

On Saturday, November 8, 2014, Author Lorna Jackie Wilson, was at Einstein Elementary’s Fall Craft Show and Bake Sale.  Guests were provided an opportunity to speak with the author and get a signed copy of her book, Black Butterfly: The Journey, The Victory!
